3. Far Cry 3

1. GTA V

2. Beyond: Two Souls

With Far Cry 3, players step into the shoes of Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island. In this savage paradise where lawlessness and violence are the only sure thing, players dictate how the story unfolds, from the battles they choose to fight to the allies or enemies they make along the way. As Jason Brody, players will slash, sneak, detonate and shoot their way across the island in a world that has lost all sense of right and wrong.

Los Santos, San Andreas. A sprawling metropolis, and a city of contrasts, from the golden sands of Vespucci Beach and palatial homes of Rockford Hills, to the the crime-ridden, graffiti-covered suburbs of Davis and Rancho. At night, looking across it from the Vinewood Hills, it seems to go on forever; an endless sea of lights, teeming with traffic and buzzing with helicopters. It's the most dense, intricate Grand Theft Auto city yet and, amazingly, only makes up a quarter of the map.

The game centers around Jodie, who since birth has been connected to aentity named Aiden. The game begins with Jodie attempting to remember her past, and how she comes to grips growing up living a sheltered life at a military base. When older she is quickly thrust into working for the CIA before she decides to abandon the agency and flee as a fugitive. At the CIA she meets Ryan Clayton, whom she hates. You allowed control over both Jodie and Aiden, and the plot is developed through nonlinear narrative, skipping back and forth between different points in Jodie's life covering a period of more than fifteen years. Overall this is an exellent story with so many endings, but it lacks interactivity.
